• It produces the opposite effect of our other contrast-boosting lenses for coloured clays. It darkens orange by filtering red light, which helps improve visibility against grey skies when the clay is a ‘white out’ (a situation where the clay blends with the backdrop).
• This lens can also boost the intensity of black targets against the sky. Particularly useful when the sun is shining on a target producing a washed-out effect.
• Ice Blue is a speciality clay shooting lens that has limited uses for clay shooting. It was originally designed to highlight the yellow centre on an archery target by darkening the red ring. Essentially anything on the red colour scale will be darkened.
